So now let's re-visit our example from page 1. By now, the bass line for the first two measures should sound familiar, and so should the chordal ideas on top. All I've done is mixed and matched some of the different chordal ideas we've covered to create some contrast. After a while, these ideas will feel like second nature, and they'll just come out of you subconsciously. That's when it really starts to get fun. Enjoy.
