In the previous two pages, we emphasized the C# (i.e. the 3rd) of A7. What if we also hit on the 3rd of D7 as well (F#)? We could bend up to these notes whenever we were on their respective chords. The layout on the guitar might look like this:
C# on A7
F# on D7

In measure 1, we bend up to the C# for the A7. In measure 2, we bend up to the F# for the D7, and when we return to the A7 in measure 3, we finish we another bend up to the 3rd (C#).
