The main points of interest in a progression like this one are the II-V-I in mms 2-4 (Bbm7-Eb7-AMaj7) and the G7-C in mms. 6-7. You really want to hit those 7th chords with a nice yummy dominant flavor. In the example below, we use this chromatic lick in measure 3 for the Eb7, and then a diminished arpeggio pattern for the G7 in measure 6.
