Let's take the same motif and play it a bit higher. I think it fits a little better - mostly because the notes are similar to the melody line of "All The Things You Are" which has the same chord progression as these examples. Once you're comfortable with these, I highly recommend muting the main sequence and just playing along with the groove. This is one of my favorite chord progressions to solo over.
