The first two bars of the solo are the same, starting out with a slide up to the 12th fret on the high E string (it doesn't really matter where you start your slide from, by the way) and then picking repeatedly on that fret.

The neat touch is in the 4th beat of the measure, where you have a double-pull from the 12th to the 10th fret and then to the open string. The key to the pulls is to get some volume on them -- you need to hold the strings firmly with the fingers of your fretting hand prior to the pull and then jerk your finger off in a downward motion that picks the string downwards a bit. If you can get the hang of doing this moderately fast, it sounds pretty cool.

In fact, as you can see, Lightnin' couldn't get enough of that double-pull, so he did it four times in the third measure of the solo!
