This is my favorite part of the solo (even though the double-pull is pretty good stuff!). As I said, Lightnin' gets the most out of his E blues scale, and this part shows why you need to learn your blues scale up and down if you want to sound cool.
All we have here is a nice little 2-bar run down the blues scale, starting by picking twice on the 12th fret of the 1st string and then working down to the nice held tremolo at the end. If you have practiced your scales enough, you should have no problem with this one! (note that we do skip the 12th fret on the 5th string, as shown in the below diagram)
