Move 2: Triplets Using E7 Fingerings on the Top Three Strings

Move #2 is done playing rapid triplets using the following E7 fingerings with great effect:
E7 #1
E7 #2

Clapton plays them either together as a chord (as in the first beat of measure 1 and the first 2 beats of measure 2) or plucks on the strings individually as in the three notes in beat #2 of measure 1. Note how he makes it sound a little more interesting simply by lifting his ring finger off the 3rd fret of the 1st string half the time to alternate between these two fingerings. A song where this is used a lot is "Driftin'" on "From the Cradle".

Notice how in measure 1 we follow up the two E7-chord triplets with a move down the third string and then stick in our favorite, Move#1 - the G# hammer-on! (Special hint: the move to the 2nd fret of the third string sounds better if you slide down from the 3rd or fourth fret rather than simply picking it, that's really how EC does it)
